Default Some BD literature

I was going through some old magazines and came across a few articles on the BD Legacy GT that I decided to scan. I figured a few people would enjoy these

http://www.pbase.com/jeffdoble/subar...ature&page=all

I've got a stack of other magazines to go through yet and a few Subaru brochures that I'll try and scan one day. Stay tuned.....as I'll keep this thread updated as I scan more.

Guy at work used to have a JDM twin turbo BG. With no limiters at all. The speedo went right around to the point where the needle would bend, and top out at around 240kph.

R&T's initial test of the '96 Legacy GT sedan, and the June 1997 comparison test both list the Subarus top speed as being electronically limited to 110 MPH, although their Comparison test of the wagons lists the 1999 GT Wagons top speed as being electronically limited to 130 MPH.

While I can certainly understand that the '96 Legacy GT still didnt have "H" speed rated tyres, and was therefore limited to ~ 110 MPH. From what others have posted the 97-99 GTs are actually good for a little more then 130 MPH and are not electronically speed limited.

Overall these are excellent articles.

Thank you for posting them Dobes.
