well... I can't exactly tell you how much that costs off the top of my head.. but it can be found on the net pretty easily. I will however ramble on for a few minutes about your business idea though . The concept is a very good one. Turning it in to a profitable reality will be challenging but most of that will depend on you, your capitol and your marketing ability. The biggest factor here is the land though. You probably already know this.. but it is important not to loose sight of that. If you ask ray croc ( founder of Mcdonalds) what his business is.. you would expect to hear him say hamburgers or fast food. This is far from the case though. Ray Croc's JOB is selling burgers.. but his BUSINESS is real estate. He is the biggest owner of real estate in the world. Tear down all his Mcdonalds and sell the land and he would make 10 times more than he did selling burgers all these years multi multi billions sold since the 40's. Mini storages are a similar deal. They can be made into a profitable business if constructed right and managed well.. but the business here is land banking. Paying the land off with whatever and then selling it for a large profit later on.. free and clear.. So if the rally thing is what you really want to do. go for it.. it would be sweet. just remember.. unless you start another state on there.. whatever you do will likely yield less profit than the land one day. think of something else if the first idea fails to keep the land paying for itself until it is ready to be sold. the rally course is good though.. it is much easier to tear down than a mini storage.. and much cheaper as well. which makes profits easier.... BUT your first consideration before the rally course or anything else is finding the best land which will be worth the most later on.. remember your a real estate mogul.. not a rally mogul good luck!!!!

not to say the subie guys would sue you if something happened, but also consider a strong release of liability to have people sign as well

Keep in mind zoning and any potential closeby neighbors/business bitching about the noise...

Case in point Arizona Motorsports Park in the west valley.

sounds like a great idea, but it will be a very difficult venture anything motorsports related, is tough and very expensive. good luck though! would be awesome, except i'd have to find a nice 2.5rs to play in the dirt with

what aaron said. cost of materials is not gona be an issue, zoning will be. especially for a race track. you dont even have any idea what your getting yourself into.
but if your serious, my dads company got the race track in Prescott Valley through council so once it gets there, you could give him a call...

this i am well aware of and i am getting the info about the actual physical location of the land and distance from residential, they just found the land in my late grandfathers estate which is not uncommon, he had a large amount of "loose" paperwork so not too much is known except its 10 acres with road access

of course people will have to sign a long long long contract as they enter, similer to how speedworld does it, basically taking liability off of me

i know i have to get info on the land, find out everything it will take and i might just be giving you a call, if not, fu*k it

thanks for all the input, its what i am looking for and exactly what i want, ideas, cost, options and so on

ooooooo... well if the land is paid for.. haha that is pretty sweet. I love rally and all. But put a wal mart on there dude! they pay big bucks

lol.. on that note.. since you are already way ahead on the land.. whatever you do keep your expenses down because that is all you are trying to offset not the land too to get ahead and make $$$. that said. open a lemonade stand farmers make bank!

After the first few cars sustain major $$ damage, which they will, I expect attendence to drop off. These cars are not dirt bikes but may think they are and will drive them off road dlike they are dirt bikes and break all sorts of parts. Yep, a shock through the top of the rear shock tower is a real bummer.

I'd still go though. Prolly buy a beater just to drive one or twice. This would not be Suby only would it? Open to all kinds of cars would be more realistic.

Good luck!

Well im sure as with any racing there will be damage to some cars, but if redneck rally is any hint as to what to expect it will blow up and make me cash!

and i would say that wrx's are meant to rally, not ride like a dirt bike but then again it will be a nicely made track, not some cleared out path with ditches and ramps

and if it was just for subarus i wouldnt be worrying about zoning etc, since it is private land and the community would have to go through me i wouldnt worry about it, so since it is open to the public there will be many waivers

but good if this scheme happens ill expect you and your beater to show and have some fun
