Default Methanol without lube in it....

is it bad?

I have a good source for methanol, but i don't think it has any castor oil in it.

i get it from an oilfield supply company for less than three bucks a gallon.

should i toss in a bit of oil?

I run an SMC kit with a 10GPH nozzle.

The last time I spoke to Steve at SMC he told me NOT to use meth with lube in it.

Meth has lube in it?

Does this include the common meth found at your local speed shop or dragway, such as VP or Torco brands?

This is where I get my meth.. I'm going to use the HoleShot when I get tuned again. The pure stuff is lube free, I asked. I was under the impression it was up to the end user to add the lube - almost like mixing for a 2 cycle engine. I'm also going to assume the lube is to help combat "cylinder" wash in race engines that run straight methanol.

~$30 for a 5 gallon can. The HoleShot is only ~$5 more. During race season it's first come first serve. You can pick it up directly from them - it's a family run business.
