Default Redline HD Shockproof + Valvoline 80/90 = happy 5 spd

So I've been running the stock dino transmission oil and recently developed a grind when shifting quickly from 4th to 5th. This was the only real reason I bought the HD stuff. I mixed 2 quarts of the Shockproof HD with valvoline 80/90 and took the car out on I-10.

The first thing I noticed was that the 4th to 5th grind was completely gone no matter how quickly I shifted. Wahoo, mission accomplished. But driving home I noticed that the box feels much much less notchy and slides into each gate without that usual resistance. Also, I can shift into first at ~25 mph, something I could only do at a stop. I have 73,XXX miles on my car and the gearbox feels the best it ever has, almost honda-esque.

Shifting feel is slightly heavier but I like it. Cold starts are a bit more finicky but when the box warms up it feels great. I highly reccomend the HD stuff, hope this helps those that are searching for the right tranny mix.
