Subaru Stars header, up pipe, and down pipe

to all, i just put a header, and up pipe on my 06 wrx. the header is not an equal length header. when i installed it everything went good. when i drive it it sounds like i have a exhaust leak. but i checked it 3 times on the lift. i felt no leeaks, i heard no leaks. i hade a friend put a rag on my muffler to make back pressure. and still no leaks. now i installed it on friday. now 3 months ago i installed my invida down pipe no cat, divorced. and it also soundid like an exhaust leak, but again nothing to be found. now im thinking that if i were to rap the down pipe that it will get rid of this. but i could be wrong. please write back with some info. the mods i have if this will help but i dont think that it will are
1.cobb ap
2.e bay top mount
3.aps blowoff valve
4.aps short ram
5.boost controller set to 16psi
6.header
7.up pipe
8.invida down pipe cat less
9.invida cat back no resinator or cat
10. turbo in let pipe

again thanks for your help

Have you ever modified the exhaust on a turbo car before? Are you aware of the different noises the car will make?

there is a torque sequence for header/exhaust manifold.
and up-pipe..i suggest that you go and get new up-pipe
down pipe gaskets and torque to specs..

I wasn't saying what he did was smart or right. Just pointing out your telling him he needed EM, when he already has it.

yes i have torqued the bolts to the proper torque. and yes i have worked on turbo cars before. and for the boost controller i have talked to cobb at sema in vegas and also on there tech notes for stage 2, i says that fuel cut is at 17.8 psi and that the boost is raised to 15.5. also i spoke to them about putting a boost controller and they said as long as i put a resistor in the plug that there will be nothing wrong with that. and plus if i write that i have cobb ap that means i have em. and no i didnt miss 1. also after wrote this i went and checked my car out again. and i found that one of the bolts for the up-pipe are loss. so its my fault for putting this thread up but dont go and put people down on **** that even you dont know the answer to. so thanks for info guys you been a reall big help

You are getting crap because you have the three evils of Subaru on your car which are a MBC, BOV, and intake. I can guarantee that even the guy that sweeps the floors at COBB Tuning would tell you that your combination is bad ju-ju. While you posted a simple leak question, we are here to warn you that what you are doing is NOT KOSHER and that WHEN you pop your motor, you have been warned. You need a protune quick, as in today or tomorrow.
