It's usually not the bulbs, but the connections. Give them a wiggle before you spend $$.

has anyone changed their bulbs before? Did you find putting the circlip back on around the wire controlling the temperature to be a major PITA??

try breaking it first. That's even worse.

It's not that bad, honestly. But you can break stuff easily and send it spinning down into hard to fix.

This isn't too bad, but be prepared to curse those little E clips that hold the mechanical-temperature-wire-thingie onto the HVAC module. They're very easy to lose, so if you do then Lowe's should have replacement E clips. I lost one of mine over the summer, but it was okay as long as I didn't move the temp from Cold (why would I during summer?).

Went to Lowe's when it started to get cold out, got some more E-clips, and before pulling the module out, I vacuumed. Guess what my vacuum picked up? Yep, the lost e-clip. After much cursing, I got the damn thing back on and all is well again. yay for working HVAC bulbs!

to avoid the E-clip problem disconnect the cable from the passegners foot well instead. it's pretty easy to do.

so by doing this I can take the whole cable out?? cause that would make it easier to get the clips back on.

Be interested to know where this is as well

And yes, the one at Crossroads. Head up the beltline, take the Cary Crossroads exit, hand a left on walnut st and it is a couple lights down on the right, can't miss it.

finally got my E-clips and bolted it all back together. Just hope those E-clips wont fall off cause that would be an even bigger PITA!

Okay, look under the glovebox. There'll be a space along the left side of the heater manifold. There's a cable that connects to a switch, that's the one that's connected to the HVAC controls.
