Default Anyone here running gutted UP's and DP's?

The reason I ask is because I just swapped out my UP and DP for a set of gutted stockers and now my car sounds like it has an exhaust leak, but it drives great (tune by treefrogaz ) and I'm damned if I can actually find a leak. There's just alot of noise coming from the gutted UP. If anyone else has this setup chime in and let me know if your car got louder under the hood or not. If so, maybe I can meet up and compare it to mine.

Thanks,
Mike

Yeah, the turbo definately hisses more, but it has this throaty sound coming from the turbo area at idle. It's driving me nuts and I want to listen to someone else's with the same setup before I pull the turbo.

Umm, don't think that will work on a hot exhaust LOL.

Another trick is to spray the area with penetrating oil and look for a stram of smoke coming out. Tried that, nothing.
