random tech hi flow cat from a 2000 rs should work on my 97 gt right? i thought it was just the midpipe section that was different...

FYI, it's a hell of a lot cheaper to buy a nice HF cat (like 2.25" magnaflow spun cat) and have a cat-pipe made than paying retail on the stroumung. You might spend $200 instead of $350!
