I have a 2002 Impreza Outback Sport.
The OEM tires are set a Potenza's that are V-rated. I have been informed that I should stick with V-rated as that I should replace with the same rating. After speaking with tire rack, I have been informed that Subaru lists H-rated or better for my car. Should I stick with a V-rated tire? I have been looking at V-rated tires and have a few that have been recommened. BF Goodrich T/A Pro Series Yokohama AS430 (local tire shop) Yokohama AVid 4S Does anyone have any recommendations what to put on this car? Any other tires to consider? Should I drop down to H-rated? I drive alot of highway miles. I want this to perform in the rain and snow. Thanks Bill

V-rated if you like to drive very fast (i.e. track).
H-rated are fine for most typical drivers. There are a lot of people using winter tires that are only Q-rated! |

Pirelli PZero Nero M+S Bridgestone Potenza 960 PP would be excellent choices. |

It is not a WRX and I do not drive it as such.
I typically drive 55 - 75 mph it should never see 90 - even if I am in a huge rush. However, I do like the way it handles exit ramps. I wasn't looking to spend a ton of money on them. I am hearing prices from $90 and up. I wasn't looking to spend $135 for tires. Thanks for the help |
