Thanks for the awesome writeup. The link showed up at the S2ki forums and of course I had to try it out.
I'm a complete PS newb and I was able to follow it on my mac. This is my first attempt. I have some other pics of my car I am going to try next. Just need more practice with PS. Sorry it's no Subaru.... but hey i've worked on a couple before.
Thanks again!

I don't have any good pics of my own car (with the right camera angle) so I did my cousin's S2000 instead.

Hope you like.

Hi Folks-along with the other commenters:

AWSOME THREAD and WHAT TALENT!!!
I, on the other hand, am appareantly PS challenged. I can follow the directions all the wat to the point where it says "play with the hues (etc...) and match the color". Of course it took me almost 3 HOURS to get through it and have every mouth color OTHER than the color of my car. <sigh>

Folks, I can't match the color to save my skin. Not only that, but looking at some of these works of PS ART, there is color blending, reflections, TEXTURE, etc......HOW DO YOU GUYS DO THAT???
I'd sure like some help (guidance) with this.
Again-
AWSOME thread. Thanks to all for sharing

Hey, heard of you guys from a member on clubgp.com. Can someone do my car please? I'm not good at photoshopping at all. Here's a few of my car, wasn't sure which was better. And sorry if they're too big. I'm not too good at sizing.

Question Photobucket Bandwidth Problem?

I've noticed that each time I've visited this thread in the past few days, the images in the tutorial posts at the top aren't showing. Do you guys need someone to offer up some hosting space and/or bandwidth?

On a related note, there's another large gallery of CARS-style Photoshopped cars over on Autoblog (http://www.autoblog.com/photos/pixar-cars-photochops/).

I'm digging these!
