Default WRX Stock solenoid good for ? boost

Im using PID on my wagon now ( i really like PID ) and no ABC. seems to me that the stock solenoid is only good for about 14.5 PSI (1bar).

I dont have the ABC anymore and I really dont want to use it anyway. Is there a way to get more from the stocker, or should I put on the GM?

If the brass restrictor had a smaller hole in it, the stock bcs could make the boost higher. This might hurt how quickly the bcs could control the boost...

The stock setup will hit ~16psi with no mods, it varies from car to car though.
Smaller restrictor would increase the range, smaller the hole higer the boost.
I don't like the ABC as it raises the effictive WG pressure. I would just ditch the stock BCS and go to an interupt style BCS.
