I'm not defending him, but I really hate camera's. One day it will be illegal to pick your nose in public.

I think he had a running start from the stadium and was nabbed at the Scottsdale and 101 camera - - (the sonata does have a \/6 option)

It would have to be a strong camera to catch you in Scottsdale picking your nose in Jersey

WOW, this new Sonata is the clearest evidence yet that Hyundai has not only arrived, but that it intends to give serious competition to the more established marques and the Korean Automaker is no longer the butt of all jokes! I'm trading my WReX in today after work! HA!!!

"Questions had been raised over whether the Sonata could reach 147 mph. But a corporate Hyundai technician said a road test showed that the Sonata could reach that speed."

HAHA

Seems like either A: that was his defense (sorry officer, my car isn't capable of reaching those speeds) or B: People were shocked a Hyundai could do that

Old....

"Pargo was flashed May 21 in his rented Hyundai Sonata at speeds of 102 mph, 105 mph, 127 mph and 147 mph between Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard. As part of the deal, prosecutors tossed out the 105 and 127 mph speeds, allowing Pargo to plead guilty to 102 mph."

The article is to say that he got 7 days, not that he was caught.

Option A: wear a gorilla mask while speeding excessively and flip the bird to the camera when it flashes

Option B: buy a Valentine1

Option C: do top speed runs on the 10 and not the 101

the 202 is way safer (fewer cops and less traffic) and is fresly paved so its very smooth. My friend jon hit 203mph on the 202 in his porshe before he died.

Really...must have been North Scottsdale because I didn't see one cop comming back from Schumacker Mercedes Benz. My idiot friend was doing oh say 80 down Scottsdale Rd.

The 202 is a perfect spot to go max speed then crash and die. His friend did it so it must work. 202 is pretty much perfect with no other cars. They set a cop out late at night now n then just to catch a record breaker. I tried it out a couple times but it is not really that fun. I don't feel as safe because of the nasty center ditch and wire cable fence. I just go out and cruise now. it's fun until you die. then nothing is fun.
