Smile Flying tomorrow to North HOllywood to pickup car

So finally the day has arrived...I will pickup my 06 sti. Anybody wanna meet up? I'm planning on picking up a body kit, getting it painted by a NASOIC member and slapping that thing on. Also, gonna pickup some rims and gonna need to find some tires. And maybe slap on DP and exhaust. Seesh lots of things to do before Monday.

Slow down killer! Mods are only fun if you space them out a little. For instance, not in one weekend!!

But really, I remember flying in to get my STi. What a great day, except for the rain of course. Hope its memorable for you. Welcome to Nasioc.

Might as well get an FP green with a front mount while you're at it...

Enough slapping. please. And I hope it's not one of those horrible eBay kits, or else you're going to be receiving that slappings.

I hope so too. I could easily sell it in Canada for the kit bought @ www.body-kits.com

Remember though....I'm from Toronto and parts here in Cali are cheaper, plus more deals out here.

i guess you are getting the car from Big Valley Subaru - they have "the barn" that is nothing but STi's - when i was there they had 30 plus STi's in stock...i've never seen another dealer with a larger stock of STi's

but i can't say they are the best place to buy from...be careful if that is where you are getting the car - they have some shady ethics and practices that's why i did not buy there...there seems to be alot "bait-and-switch" and the "can you find the extra $1000 hidden fee for no reason" in their financing especially back when i was looking for my wagon

do yourself a favor - bring a calculator

I was just there today, yea their financing is screwed, but no better place to go to find the car of your choice.

I'm thinking of selling my wrx and getting into the sti limited that they have there.

What are the details of the deal? Year, mileage, reason for salvage, price?

Once you answer those, I can then call you retarded

I'd guess flood damage judging from the matching marks on the cockpit/spoiler not to mention the horizontal wet marks on the walls.

Honestly some flood damaged cars are great for parts... but the interiors are usually trashed!

Best of luck. I picked up my car from there but called them on all their mistakes, especially in the financing department. They have a good selection but the people are a pain to deal with. Also I say pick up the parts but dont install them. Get a feel for the car before you mod it. That way if anything happens you can be sure its the car thats acting strange and not your mods.

I'd hang onto my money for a while, I'm afraid. No telling what you're gonna find, and need to repair, once you start driving that "salvaged" STi...
