wow, that is tempting. i bet i could talk them down to 3k. nice second car. only catch for me is that it would be a money pit. i would end up dumping like 15k into it, and i dont have it.

Nope it's not my old car. And there's a thread on akmotorsports about this car and I would definetly stay away from it unless you're ready to spend big bucks and/or asking for a bunch of headaches.

Reconstruct title, no thanks. I don't care if you made the car brand new, a car with a reconstruct title is worthless. Yes, it might be a nice buy, but if you ever want to sell it, good luck.

P.S. Anyone see Alex's car lately? Looks like he has some new battle damage to the right front. Too much rallying!

Car has been up a river, (lots of flood damage) water up to the windshield, needs a bunch of wireing/ecu, lots of interior parts, motor sounds like **** when it was started with a diff ecu, so were told, etc. The Russians bought it from Northwest, tried to make a quick buck, then realized it was a waste of time and are trying to get their money back out of it...go read the akms post...

I got some "insider" info on that car, a guy I work with knows the guys at North West pretty well, he always buys cars from them and reconstructs them and then sells them. It is true that they tried to start it shortly after they got it with a different ecu, the guy I work with told them not to becuase they didnt drain the motor, well they tried it any way and sure enough hydrolocked it and bent some rods or something.
