Question Is the Subaru oil cooler worth it?

So, is it? I think that it is a good idea. Would a dealership install this since it is a Subaru part? Thank you.

I installed one myself:

Is it worth it? Depends on how you drive I guess. I auto-x occasionally so I went with one. The WRX and Forester automatic come with one standard. Will the Dealer install one? Possibly but between the parts and labor my guess is it will cost a ton of money probably 600 or so, not worth it. The parts list for a good amount. I got mine from Sugar under 300 I cant' remember the exact figure.

Thank you Peaty. I think that this will be a future mod of mine just to improve the longevity of my baby, as I don't drive her hard.

A thing that is nice is that the cooler kind of has two functions. When the car is cold the oil warms up the coolant and warms up the car faster (heat comes on quicker too) and then when the car is warm the coolant keeps the oil cooler. The hardest part was finding a 14mm allen wrench. Keep an eye out for one. If you can't find one anywhere I can just lend you mine via USPS or something like that.
