Default 18's on an '01 Legacy BE...

I'm spamming the 'net with this question, because i think it could be fairly helpful and useful to compile!

I've researched a bit, but i want experience if it can be had.

I'm looking to put a 18 x 8 wheel on my BE, but the offset ordeal is really confusing me. The wheel in particular i'm looking at is a ROTA P45F, and it has a 48mm offset.

I'm looking to put a 225/40 on them, as that's what I had on my BD w/18" Spec.B's and it was ok, I don't know what the offset is on them however.

Another thing is I will be putting coilovers on the car, so i will have some room to mess atround w/ the fitting.

What do you BE owners have/had and like/dislike on your cars?

HELP!

Thanks!

Rob

Yeah, 18x8, +48, 225/40 tires. I'm probably going with a 235 or 245 next summer though because I'm sure they'll fit.

first one is the thread for the springs/shocks, second one is the wheels.

edit: I think wheels would be my last concern right now if i was you.
