Thumbs up KartBoy Exhaust Hangers

Got em' yesterday and installed them right away since I was under the car already...I noticed that one of my stock Hangers was broken and another slipped right off of the car...Well the hangers are very strong and tight but nothing a little spit couldn't solve... They are so stiff, they vibrate my sideskirts, which are yet to be molded on...Top Notch quality and unbeatable delivery time. Thanks for such a great product...Keep them coming.

Peaty,
Just wanted to say that Scoobymods. com is a great website. OT, since removing the crossmember weight, have you noticed any increased vibrations? Thanks.

I haven't noticed any difference in vibration. However, with all the suspension mods and other things my car isn't the best judge. My car is pretty noisy and harsh to begin with (just the way I like it . BTW, From what Tom told me only the Manual tranny cars have this weight.

Yeah bro, I have to agree with Peaty...Since I removed and replaced most of the soft cushy parts on my car with stronger pieces I have noticed many different noises. I expected all of them and thats the way I like it...My car has certain sounds that I know was not there when it was stock but its normal with these type of parts. I can't wait to get my hands on some hardened bushings for the rest of the chassis...

I installed ONE of the hangers on the mount behind the rear axle infront of the muffler and by my exhaust shake test, that's all I need! Hard to believe that only one of these did so much to prevent movement!

Thanks again Kartboy!!

I watched Mitch808 install his and was amazed at the difference they made. I can't wait to get my car up on a set of ramps so I can put my set on! No more clunking for me thank you very much.

Not yet! I had placed an online order at Cobb but they were out of stock so I cancelled the order. But I don't think I'm gonna get them. One Kartboy is enough!!

Just got finished installing these...i figured they would be difficult to install after reading peoples reviews. I was very generous with the WD40 on everything, and i was able to slide the stock exhaust hangers off easily, and the kartboy's kind of snapped in with some pressure.

The reason I purchased these is because if I lower my car i know my HKS exhaust will scrape. I'm sure my exhaust won't bounce around a bit with these exhaust hangers...keep it coming kartboy!!

I have to say that my experience with the hangers has been TERRIBLE. I think this is due to the turbo system that was put into my car about 3 years ago. The midpipe hanger was a NIGHTMARE to put on. In fact I got only the bottom part on and then called it quits after 1 hour of trying to move the exhaust system around to line things up (the differential guard was also in the way and I did not want to remove that). Subaru engineers somehow decided that the hanger rods attached to the chassis would have "nubs" that are fairly easy to work with but the rods on the piping and muffler have ONE-WAY flanges. WARNING: once the hangers are on the exhaust system rods, they will NOT come off. Delrin is a great substance unless you have to remove it.
I suspect that when the turbo system was put it in, the installers must've moved the exhaust system around because NONE of the hanger rods line up with each other. When I looked around before doing anything, I noticed that all of the hangers were kinda twisted to the side. So, I'm going to wait until my new exhaust system comes in and then I'll the hangers.
All of the problems point to the messed up exhaust system and NOT to the Kartboy products. The hangers themselves are beautifully made and should last the life of the car. Now, I hope I'll have better luck with the new droplinks

I love mine. It holds my HKS Carbon TI up like a champ. I mean the exhaust barely moves hehe. Great product.

Sorry didn't see this till just now. No I haven't noticed but I have to say my car isn't a good measure of this. With my suspension I'm close to needing a kidney belt as it is

STill no one has said anything to me that it has.

One more note, the exhaust hanagers will not come off easily....I tried and tried to take one of them off so i could let my downpipe hang down but no dice. I ended up cutting up my hand REALLY nasty.
