it's a model #14978 and yes it is 2.5"

I may be interested. How is the sound? I carpool and cant have a droning loud exhaust. Is there any other exhausts you would compare it to? Also would you know if it can be used with a trialer hitch? Thanks.

It has a good boxer rumble at idle. It doesn't drone, you will know it's there but it's not obnoxious. As for the hitch I don't know, it should being 2.5"

My two cents plus bump,

About perfect loudness for the stealthy kind in my opinion. Not too loud but has a really nice boxer rumble to it. I have the Hush with a high-flow cat and think my setup is a bit soft. Would love a few more decibels and was contemplating the swap. The only thing keeping me from it is my personal preference for dual tips. I think anyone with an affinity for the boxer rumble and an STI-like single-tip look would be hard pressed to find flaws with this exhaust. I am to a certain extent contemplating doing away with either my last cat or resonator to approximate the sound of this exhaust. Take this with a grain of salt if you may but it's my contribution to the reputation of the exhaust regardless.

just bumping, due to the fact i can;t praise Borla exhausts enough for the STi and WRX,,,they look awesome(stock-like), and more importantly make the best boxer rumble sound of any exhaust going.....250.00 is a steal....
