Default Note: Use WRX headgaskets

I just got done replacing my headgaskets with WRX ones. I used ej22e composite gaskets and they blew after 3k miles and 15psi of booost. Now with the new injectors and headgaskets the car feels amazing. Hung with an 07 limited sti.

The compression ratio is lowered slightly becasue the metal gaskets are a little thicker. Proabably around 8.9:1 now.

My setup is:

ej18 block
ej20 headgaskets
ej22 heads
ej20 exhaust manifold
ERZ uppipe
HKS downpipe
Custom FMIC
STi sidefeed injectors
TD04 turbo
Greddy Emanage w/ support harness
HKS first gen BOV
WRX midpipe
Custom Axleback
MBC
running 13psi

Pics?

Very cool setup. When do you get "full boost".

I wanna pickup a L to do a hybrid on too. I certainly have enough parts laying around after 8 + years of subaru ownerships.

full boost is 3500ish...closer to 3700. Going with a vf39 soon, hopefully will hit boost at 4100. What sucks is that my redline is 6k .

Ill gather some pics.

So are the heads keeping you back from a 7k redline or fear of the bottom end popin?
