Default Downpipes that fit the 07 Spec B?

Does anyone have information on which downpipes will fit around the 6MT on the 2007 Spec B?

Perrin claims that theirs will fit, but nobody else will give me an answer, just "Check back in a few months and we'll know".

How similar are the forward parts of the exhaust on the Legacy GT and the WRX or STi? Are they the same up to the Y-pipe or anything particularly lucky like that?

I need some more rumble but don't want to find out that the Legacy-specific exhausts are no good because of the transmission.

There some pretty good documentation on what fits and what doesn't fit the 05+'s already here. Either search here or search on legacygt.com for answer.

IIRC, one pipe is exchangeable and the other isn't(down/up), but I don't recall which is which.

I don't think there's anything different under the hood with the regular LGT and the SpecB. You can use any of the DP's that are made for the LGT.

Legacy UPs are the same as the WRX/STi's, but the DP's are different - I don't think anything rear of the UP bolts on. Check with the vendors on legacygt.com for lots of options, although I admit I'm not sure about the 6-speed, either.

Well, unless the 6spd on SpecB has an obsecenely large bellhousing, I highly doubt the transmission will change the routing of the DP. STi's have 6 speeds too and they use the same DP as the WRX...

Perrin has already put their downpipe on a 07 spec B, they had it done for their car at sema.

if it fits '05-06 then it fits on 07 seems to be the general concensus on legacygt.com.
Choices Cobb or Invidia or you can possibly can use wrx downpipe + adapter ($150 I think)
