heh. 2003 VW GTI 1.8T 1,600 for 6 months = 266 a month. full coverage. but I don't pay monthly, so in reality I pay 400+/- every 30 days. then i don't have to pay for 2 months or so. heh. $500.00 deductables I'm 25 and the only thing on my record is a DUI. (1 year ago) and it's the worst possible thing to have. also, I've only had insurance for about 2 years. I'm insured with Geico. Come Feb. I'll be shopping around though. no accidents, or tickets after I turned 17 (got a lane change and speeding ticket when I was about 17). my car is, obviously a hatchback which are generally more expensive to insure. I have a feeling geico is going to raise my rates and if it goes up too much I'm SOL for awhile. I guess I should work on paying my car off instead of modding it...........nah. my `94 4runner was 90+ a month for liabilty. Last edited by Minimaul; 12-15-2006 at 12:00 AM. |

No accidents or tickets EVER. Full coverage w/ 500 deductables .....$420.00...a month 19+new car=$$$ If I had gotten a sedan, it would have been another $100 a month, and I shopped around State Farm was by far the cheapest for me. |

Getting a quote on the STI...
$271 a month with a $1000 deductable With a $500 deductable came out to about $500-$700 a month. Somewhere in that general area. |

OMG! ouch!
![]() i've never paid more than $150/mo for insurance on any vehicle I ever owned, including my 01 Toyota Tundra. I believe I'm paying a little over $100 for the LGT now and we pay about $100/mo for the Vibe. that's one at fault accident and 1 ticket (LGT) plus 1 ticket on the Vibe. full coverage, $500 deductible. |

Well I will stay on my folks plan for awhile. When I tried progressive and geiko on my own plan for the STi. They wanted $900-$1000 a month. I laughed so hard, was like to hell with that, I would rather not pay for insurance and just give cash to whoever I may hit lol. Of course the Evo wasent exactly a nice number either.
But hey I payed cheaper for having the subie than I did for my civic. AWD, anti lock brakes, ect made the rate go down. |

Just switched to North Carolina insurance yesterday. I pay $560 every 6 months, so about $93/month for full coverage.

Wow! I guess I have finally found one good thing about Nebraska. I pay $68 a month for full coverage on my '02 WRX. The most that I have ever paid was $165 a month for the '97 Cobra that I had. I have to say, I still don't understand why they base the majority of your insurance rate on your credit score. How in the hell does my paying bills have anything to do with my driving habits, and likelyhood of getting into an accident?

$675 for 6 months on my 93 Impreza L with almost full coverage and with some of my mods insured through the gecko. I have 2 speeding tickets and 2 tint tickets on my record. Looked at what I would pay if I had an 02 WRX, cheapest I found was $1500.00 for 6 months for liability and a couple other options.
