Okay guys! i currently own a 05 STI. From what i have been reading on the power bragging section, the 07 STI are more faster when adding mods (without tune). Can you guys tell me what is in the 07 STI (performance) that 04-06 STI dont have???

The ECU is different, and is better at adapting to new mods better without a tune.

No one really knows what was changed yet, it's something pretty big though like pistons etc. It's not just the ECU.

They revised them to improve cooling and eliminate the sodium-filled exhaust valves. I don't think anything else about the heads changed though.

Wait for the 2008 model, then if you don't like the performance, looks or both just go for an 07 model.

The '07 STi also lost the aluminum control arms, and has a smaller RSB than the '06 STi.
