Default Carbon Fiber hoods for BE...

I'm wondering if anyone knows where would be a good place to get a CF hood for my BE would be? I can find a OEM scoop-less one made by SEIBON, which wouldn't be too bad, but if I can get a good quality one w/ a scoop it'd be great...

I don't mean to be an ass, but this has been asked quite a few times here. I'm sure a search would reveal the answer you seek

erebuni, and it's got an EVO style hole in the hood with the scoop. That's the only style they make that will fit US BE/BH's

it's been asked more that a few times. You should've said it's been asked a LOT before. heck, we talked about it back in 2001 (when I first joined), and EVERY year since then (and probably long before 2001 as well)...

Even if it's for the earlier BE/BH's? I'm fully aware of the rev.D model change if that's what your referring to, but if not, do tell.

These are all I could find (besides the erebuni one):

http://www.carbonfiberhoods.net/prod...6a54b6f8c646ee

http://www.yakuzaracing.com/en-us/dept_429.html

Another thing is that even though it's on the yakuza ( ) site, I don't see one listed on Seibons factory site.

I've tried searching Google AND Nasioc under: legacy 00 - 04 (and 00-04 with no spaces) carbon fiber, legacy BE carbon fiber, legacy carbon fiber, and all previous with 'hood' after carbon fiber. Am I doing something wrong?

Search n00b!

Seriously though, there's gotta be a master thread around here on this. I swear...is it in the FAQ maybe?

I saw that, it's in the FAQ. It's just on a really old group buy, and it's really geared towards BD/BG guys.

It's not a big deal, I have a Baja hood ready to go, I just figured this would be a good time to see what's out there.

Well, at least that's what the ebay seller says. It's a bit pricier than the Erebuni one, but considering their rep, it may be worth it to have a quality piece (which is what seperates a good Carbon hood from a ricey one).

I would suggest anyone to stay away from Erebuni products. My experience with them has been poor. Not to say there aren't people that are satisfied with their products, but I haven't been.

Well, I would strongly suggest anyone to stay away from carbon fiber hood. In my humble opinion I really can't stand if the gap between my hood, fender is not perfectly aligned

I only meant fender and hood gap bothering me. I can live with rest of the gap for now, but eventually i am gonna fix them.
