Default fogs

does anyone know how to make it so that the headlights dont have to be on for the fogs to come on? I have a 97 GT. Let me know if you think i should post in electrical/lighting instead but i thought maybe someone here would have more experience w/ a legacy.
Thanks

Search here, I believe there is a thread about this. Otherwise check out SLi, I know the question was answered there somewhere, probably about a year ago.

Here is a diagram of the fog wiring, the indicated grounding modification (in red) will result in fog lights that come on with both high and low beams.

If you want to make the fog lights independent of the headlights altogether, you'll want to also cut the Black/Yellow wire shown at B62. Cap the side nearest to the connector, and connect the other side to a 12v switched source.

sorry i dont see a diagram, but you are basically saying that making the fogs independent would just involve cutting one wire?
