travis is the guy that does the tuning correct? i am still pretty new to the tuning procedures of subaru's, how did he do yours? Do you have some type of EM he plugged into or is it just thru your DLC?

its a special cable and software you need, the software is free, the cable is not, plus travis has good experience and the car is very smooth now, send him a pm if you want a good tune, he goes by treefrogaz on the boards here, and after you get tuned contact gormonk and get your headlights painted, looks awesome, esspecially the halo effect on the ohh6's oh man is it nice

tactrix.com and its like 100 or so, you could flash to stage 1 but if you are expecting to keep your warrenty i wouldnt unless you feel comfortable about paying for your own parts, also if you have no experience with tuning i would not do it yourself unless you are willing to replace your engine, better to know you have a good tune from someone like travis then do it yourself even with a base map and it turns out that you are running too lean, i will eventually get a cable because i am somewhat familiar with basic tuning thanks to my UTEC but even i would rather have travis tune, well worth the cost compared to other forms of EM, i would even rock a small tuned by treefrogaz vinyl sticker on my window if he had one

I know how to tune, but have only used motec and autronic.

The stock ecu has tons of different maps and I am curious which ones he touches. I am using the tactrix cable to flash my stock ecu right now and have already tuned my car for my setup. I am just curious as to what all is touched becuase I want to learn.

All I have changed is the base ignition timing, ignition correction, low and high det fuel maps, target boost, wastegate duty, and injector flow scaling. I am just wondering if I should be changing something else
