Anchorage Tattoo on Benson, talk to Don Yarian. What are you looking to get done? What style? All the artists in there turn out great work.

debra yarian at anchorage tattoo also does GREAT work. nice and precise line work, and from what i've seen out here, she does traditional styles really well, if you want that "vintage style hot rod art". debra is working on my inner arm and i'm happy w/ it (won't post pics b/c it's not complete.) she is amazing w/ color, too...which i can't say for a lot of artists out here judging by their portfolios. i don't have pictures, but she finished my husband's sleeve, did my friend's torso/chest piece, another friend's sleeve and his whole leg practically...sorry i don't have pics, but she's great. don and debra are husband and wife and share the same booth, so when one isn't working, the other is...yeah, AWDBST's work done by don is awesome...that picture doesn't do it justice, though...but yeah, i've stopped by a couple of other shops in town, and anchorage tattoo is the only one that doesn't give me the the heebie jeebies when i walk in...anchorage tattoo is clean and friendly (which is a HUGE deal breaker w/ me when it came to the other shops...)

anchorage tattoo
706 w. benson blvd.
anchorage, ak. 99503
907-561-0065
dondebratattoo@yahoo.com

if you're coming in from elmendorf afb...
-(L) gambell/seward hwy.
-(R) northern lights
-(L) arctic blvd. [or you can make a (L) on spenard rd. to give yourself more clearance for finding the shop...]
-(L) benson blvd.
-anchorage tattoo will be immediately on your (R) and has a huge tattoo gun/sign out front...

if you do decide on going to her for your artwork, tell her that patrick-1, patrick-2, anne, and mike say "hello."

ok i don't have any clear pics of my tats but most of my work was done by smitty when he had a place up here, but i've got work done by anchorage tat by james allen and will be going back to finish my sleeve and front and back pieces, from what i've seen you really can't go wrong with any of the artist that work there, they all do some fenominal work so a +20 for larry allens anchorage tattoo.

mike

tax time will be time for alot more ink
