Manifold remover and TGV deletes
two questions. I have read up on intake manifold removal and the tumbler deletes and i have searched...
1.) when i remove the intake manifold is it necessary to drain the coolant or can i just plug lines and slide the overflow out of the way?
2.) For the tgv deletes I was going to do one of two things. Either just remove the butterfly plates and leave the rods, OR remove everything and tap the holes so i can plug them. I know that removing the rods will cause a cel, but if i leave the rods will it cause a cel that cant be tuned out on a utec? I have also seen something about that you need to port them when you do the tgv deletes so they match up correctly. Do i need to do this?

Go to scoobymods.com for the complete write-up.
1. Plug them.
2. UTEC may or may not remove the CEL, check with TurboXS FIRST. You don't NEED to port them to match the block inlet, but since you are in there anyways, it seems like a no brainer. Use the old gasket as a pattern, overlay it, scribe, and port to the scribe mark. Use spray paint if you don't have a scribe.
