What is your cars top speed ?

What sort of fuel economy does it get (under "normal" driving conditions) ?

Why would the top speed matter? I do not know the top speed but I am sure it can hit 150 or more.

Normal driving it gets around 18mpg

This car was properly built by professionals and has been owned by top-notch "car-guys" since.

BUMP for a sweet car that I'm surprised might be for sale.

Man this is a sweet motor setup. Fully closed deck, oil squirters, forged internals. I think your current power levels are very conservative for what this block could support.

I just don't have the time to toy around with the car anymore and being in Oregon where it rains 300 days a year and tends to flood, a lowered car built for track use is not the best thing. I want something bigger that can handle the high waters and can go off road in 6+ inches of snow or mud. I like camping and things like that and the car just can't hold multiple ppl and gear.

Im going to get a SUV, which one not sure. Really like the new FJ cruisers but I don't feel like having another car payment so a used Xterra is looking good too.

And it has the wrx tranny so the gearing is not the 4.11. Lets just say you can hit 120 in 4th and still have all of 5th and still have the power to go lots more.

I got your PM. I will write back to answer your questions

And to think. . . I just went to the dark side and purchased an STi. This is the first time I've been without a Legacy. Ever. Wish I would have seen this first.

There is no huge hurry to sell the car right now as the main reason I am going to sell it is due to some major engine work. I am pretty much getting a new engine put in, all due to a bad turbo that I let run a little too long

Where are you getting the work done? In the pictures, it looked like you were parked in front of the old Rallitek shop. What happened to the turbo to make the engine go bad?

That engine looks nicely built, albeit with a poor torque curve IMO, but the rest of the car=ricer in my book.

Still, best of luck, quite the performance legacy!

Where in Portland would this be? I have lived here for over 20 years and only a few times a year does it get to be anything like this...

Ya just got to bone up on your wet-weather driving... and I thought we had the only turbo BD in Portland. Same bodykit and everything... now I gotta go change it.

IPD/Rallitek will be doing the work. I think the wrong oil was used in the break in period of the turbo which caused the thrust bearing to go bad and I let it run too long like that. It was strickly my fault and I am paying for it.

Mainly in the outskirt areas of south Portland (oregon city, molalla, etc.) This car has been a Gt-T close to 8 years now i think. I have had it for 3 and the previous owner has had it this way for about 5 years. Got the bumper cover almost right after I bought the car, so close to 3 years too. I know how to drive in wet weather its just I have had enought with working on performance engines and a lowered car.
