Default How much labor to charge for changing engine/motor mount?

It seems like I will be needing new engine mounts for the RS (61k miles). I can see the engine bobbling/wobbling really noticetably as I turn on/off the car. Regular driving it feels fine. Is this normal?

Anyway if I need to do this, how much is a fair labor cost for it (engine removed, put in new mounts)? I would probably buy some STI engine mounts instead of the OEM RS ones....

You don't need to remove the whole engine to install new mounts.

You simply lift the engine high enough that you can unbolt the mounts and swap in new ones. Its not like an engine swap.

the engine shaking back and forth while turning it on/off is normal, its caused by the "opposed" setup of the cylinders. i think every subaru ive seen start up/shut off does it. kyle
