Las Vegas area race schools - American Racing Academy or XPlex?

Has anyone ever done an event at American Racing Academy (previously Derek Daily School)? I will be flying in (no car) and want to do two days of school, which they offer in their open wheel "Formula 2000" cars. Looks good, but I can't find any opinions or feedback from students online. It's a lot of money to put down without some idea of how well they run their events.

I'd also be interested in kart school at XPlex, but they appear to be out of business. I've always heard they were one of the best tracks in the US?

Any other schools in the area worth considering? Spring Mountain looks good but they don't have anything for the dates I'll be in town.

Only 12-16 students per school
Passing is allowed
Full track laps all the time
Data acquisition in two & three day schools
Simulated race starts
Racing radios in every car
F2000 with wings front/back
Exciting Las Vegas atmosphere

Yep, the two day version of that class is what I'm interested in. Sounds good on paper, but that doesn't give me any feedback regarding how well they run their events. Their website is pretty poor, I can't find any reviews online and they don't have the reputation of a place like Skip Barber.

Anyone been to an event there?

Turns out Spring Mountain will do a one day event for me in a Radical. Any experiences with either facility?
