Replicas aren't as good as the original, but as far as these go they are quite good replicas.

Quality is NOT excellent, sorry. Mine had 2 cracks, the surface required significant sanding and filling, and the feet do not properly line up with the trunk (the outside edges are fine, the inside edges are at least a millimeter off the trunk). I am never buying cheap replicas again (there are some decent replicas out there, but they aren't cheap).

I'm getting a real RB5 spoiler...anyone want a replica painted silver cheap?

hehe, a mm off the trunk lid eh? That's not bad.. BTW I said quality was good, not excellent.

You should see some of the brutal replicas around, I consider these AFS ones to be quite good...

But this is why these are replicas that cost half the price.. As to the large amount of sanding you claim your's required, you sure that's not your bodyshop jerkin your chain? Either that or you got a freak wing..

Mine came nicely surfaced, fairly smooth (some light sanding will be done) and crackless. Much better quality than the version 5 replicas floating around there that sit 1 cm off the trunk lid in the middle.

Nope, no body shop jerking involved, it was really rough, especially on the trailing edge. Just miserable. Glad yours is better, but that just means their quality control sucks, too.

bsquare,,like i posted in the parts section, mine had no cracks, primer only needed a little sanding on the underside, and it fits almost perfect. If ya wanna spend $750 on the real thing thats up to you.But fr $350 delivered this is a bargain and a half.
Id call AFS,tell em what's up.Ill bet they'll make it good.

I'll call them Monday, though I don't know how sympathetic they'll be since it has already been painted and mounted on the car.

Well, people were always posting how bad replica parts were, so I just figured this was the norm (and I wasn't the only one who got a cracked/rough one). Now that others are saying their wings are fine, I know something is wrong (either in how they are judging or in the wing I got).

I got my from revolution motorsports. I think they sell the same replica wing. I'm happy but look at first I wasn't. Read the thread and make your own opinion.
