Default new ride

Well it was either a new STI (I just drove one at GrandsSport Speedway instructing a new driver. I was impressed with it. Or a new 6th gen Camaro. Well here it is.

Placed 3rd at the Pasadena Car show in April, 2 weeks after I bought it.

yes, V6. Sounds like a V8 when you put your foot in it. Totally different car from the 2012 RS I had. New chassis, interior, even the motor is new. Wicked 8 speed auto tranny. I was going to opt for the 6 speed manual, it is actually slower than the new 8 spd.
The !LE was too far off for me. Plus the trade-in was a factor in this.

Oh yeah, the new V6 is definitely light years ahead of it's predecessors. Congrats. Very nice car

I want to drive the new SS. I'm just wondering how the visibility is in that car with the high beltline. I didn't like the previous generation car too much but this looks nicer.

Visibility is virtually the same as my 2012 RS. The side windows are a tad smaller. Remember it's a whole new body and chassis. the car is also several hundred pounds lighter and you can feel it while driving compared to my old car. It felt heavy.

Oh I am aware of the chassis difference. I want to drive a new SS with the 8 speed auto and maybe the magnetic ride suspension. It sounds like a great car. I do recall the old SS feeling like a big heavy turd. Well I'll just have to give it a chance.

This is the car on the track, Texas World speedway last week. Keep in mind the car is a stock V6 auto. Stock tires, brakes etc.
