Default LOOK OUT for stolen STI passenger seat.

Last Friday I was putting back together my interior after putting some soundproofing on the floor pans. I needed to go some place and took the passenger seat out since it wasn't bolted down. I left it under my car port and took off for an hour. I came back and it was gone!

Anybody know where I can buy a replacement for less than the dealer cost?
Update: dealer quoted me $2600 for new front seat. That was the parts guy.

Looking to buy replacement seat....

Claim it on insurance, or try and pick one up used on the forums. You wont get another one cheap going through Subaru.

Sorry to hear that though, sucky!

He would need to claim it on homeowners/renters and he would need to pay his deductible which may not be worth it depending on what it's set at. OP doesn't have his MY posted, but you can find GD STi front and rear seats for ~$600 last I checked. OP is better off paying cash IMO.

Buy a new set for $600. Post your driver's seat on craigslist. If the would-be buyer shows up with a passenger-only seat, call the cops.

Don't know what year you're looking for, but eBay is a pretty good source for used seats.

The other are not the correct color or don't match. I've see all those...foreal
