Default Problems re-starting my car when its warmed up????

I have been getting problems with the fact that once the car fires up and i go out for a run 10-20 mins or so the car will not re-start? I bought another battery as the old one i had went dead a couple of times however that battery was less than a year old and with less than 5 k on it. So the new battery i got, i made sure it has better cranking power and still the same problem???? I have looked around to see if i have a bad ground but it all seems good and there is also no light coming on due to the alternator not charging. i also notice that the car starts fine once it has cooled down it just seems to do it when the engine gets hot? Any ideas guys?

This is with a Hydra... or... ?

You say it doesn't start. Does that mean it doesn't even crank, or does that mean it's cranking but not turning over?

Assuming it can crank, and assuming a Hydra, what does "BATT" read while cranking?

What battery is it?

Needs more hot start "cranking enrichment" likely in the 70-100C coolant temp range. Some of the modified cars I've tuned need 25 in that range.

Thanks,
Phil

You're welcome. Do you have a JDM 2.0 motor or heads by chance?

Thanks,
Phil

Yes for whatever reason those heads require a lot of hot cranking enrichment and act like they have high lift, high duration cams. 25-30 should do the trick for cranking enrichment.

Thanks,
Phil
