Smile What I saw in Thailand..

Well..I was at the go-kart track where I spotted something that made my jaw dropped like no other....

Yep, an S203. I clearly love the car. I think it's perfect. The guy said he had to buy it at an auction down in japan and snagged it for $120,000. He's a retired race car driver. Owns an m5, 911 turbo and a version 6 STi. well, enough talk more pictures. Oh, one more thing...The seats are great! I literally went to heaven because of this... ENJOY! 301/555

120k before taxes and importation? I dont know if thailand is like Singapore or Malaysia but there taxes are around 200% of the car value so price increases drasticly.

I know how to install a wiper. But how hard is it to cut class and not break it for a hole that small?

Nice find! It was cool of the guy to let you check out the car.

I've been to Thailand and I was expecting other picutres in this thread. These will do nicely however.

$120,000? That's not in US currency is it?

Pesos?

I'd shoot myself in the face before I bought a $120,000 STi.. no offense guys

I would only shoot myself in the face after my first accident in a $120,000 STi.

Hah, yeah I'm planning to add more pictures of other things. But, for now this will do. The guy was really awesome. He asked my cousins where I was because he wanted to give me a ride around the city in it. But, I was to busy pulling 50mph run downs on the straight away and powersliding turns on the go-karts 250cc of fun.

I'm not to certain. All he really told us was that was the final bidding price at the auction when he got it.

Glad you guys like it. I enjoyed it for those 15 mins I was near it.

Limited edition. They only make 555 of them each version. Higher output motor. 230kw vs 206kw (the turbo's are as rare as rocking horse poo, VF42). Exclusive turbo to the S203/S204 models, this has a twin scroll design with a slightly larger compressor than the VF36/37 turbos and different turbine design (more blades). The VF42 is a roller-bearing turbo and is similar size to the VF22 turbo, but with twin scroll exhaust housing for faster spool and better top end performance because of reduced exhaust pulse interference.

Properly tuned suspension components, carbon seats, special lip spoiler etc, etc, etc. Does that explain why they're a bit special?

We had a couple of the S204 here for sale. Only about 5 brought into the country by Subaru NZ. The new STI sells for $65K NZD. The S204 was $75K NZD (about $53K USD)

They are sex on wheels
