KTR did my clutch install. STi clutch is giong to be hours longer than your 2.2. They charge $75/hr. Give Scott a call over there.

Try Speen Street Auto in Natick. Those guys are subie specialists and do great work. Not a performance shop, but perfect for the kind of work it sounds like you need done. I've been taking my legacy there for years.

what clutch are you using with that setup? stock 5 speed?

sorry to hijack for a sec, but you have much of the mods i'm looking to do and probably a similar power level

call ecs or dsg for clutch installs.

It's a SPEC Stage II+, and KTR installed it for $550. It shuddered a little during break-in, though it's fine now with 2500 miles. I do prefer the lower engagement of the Exedy, ACT, and RPS clutches, but those didn't last very long with the power I was making and the trips to NED.

woo hoo!

SPEC Stage I clutch here.... working on about 200 miles now ~300 more to go..... the shutter does suck but it's getting better... KTR installed it... they said ~500 miles to break it in.... first gear shutter is taking the longest to work out.

um.. so for the OP.. KTR is a good place to go... i called around DSG, KTR were about the same... dealership was outragous..... you want cheap... DIY.. otherwise on a key componant such as a clutch... spend the money to get it done right.... just my .02

do it your self.... i did my clutch and flywheel by myself on my car, it wasn't easy but worth saving 800 dollars.... and it's really not that hard it's mostly time consuming... - just my 2 cents - alex
