Default Beat the Summer Heat With the All-New Portable Seat Cooler!

Beat the Summer Heat With the All-New Portable Seat Cooler!

Press Release:
Quote:
A new cooling seat cushion, the SummerSeat, has been released by Nocord(R), a Richmond, VA-based company, specializing in affordable high-end automotive accessories.

The SummerSeat is yet another smart product following the successful WinterSeat. This cooling seat cushion utilizes a high-powered centrifugal fan to pull in fresh air and cool the back and bottom of the driver or passenger.

"The SummerSeat, in essence, can really be called a 'smart seat,' because it not only gives you the ability to control your comfort level, but in designing it, we have also taken every step to maximize the amount of comfort while still keeping its function at a maximum," said Peter Wong, inventor.

The SummerSeat has a soft, yet firm, feel to it, allowing for a generous, cool air flow. It also comes with an adjustable cooling control so that the driver can set their desired level of cooling. Keeping efficiency in mind, the SummerSeat not only draws a minimum amount of power from your battery, but also features an Energy Saving Automatic Shut-Off Timer, which automatically turns the SummerSeat off every hour just in case you leave the car and forget to turn it off. The SummerSeat fits most cars, trucks and SUVs on the market. There is also an optional AC adapter for home and office use.

"Everyone knows what it's like to get into a baking-hot car in the summer. Driving around, the front side of our bodies is exposed and able to get a normal flow of fresh air, while your back and bottom feel like they're sticking to the seat. The SummerSeat aims to solve that problem by providing generous cooling to this area of our body," said Wong.

The secret of the SummerSeat lies not only in our centrifugal fan, but also in the material construction of the seat. Aside from the foam cushioning, the SummerSeat contains a microfiber mesh and Eva(TM) Cooling Plastic, both of which aid the cooling process of the air. Eva(TM) Cooling Plastic is a special plastic which helps to remove heat from the air that passes through it.

SCORE! I love that idea. I hate getting all hot and sweaty - and it's a decent price.

Finally, I've been waiting for cooled seats that didn't come on either a Lincoln or some other $50K+ vehicle.

Just ordered one, see how well/bad it works, this summer...

And best part is, can take it w/you if/when you change rides, schweeeeeeeeeet.
