Default - Knock Correction in my Log. Bad?

Got my tactrix a week or so ago and did a few logs with my stock ECU before flashing to OSECU Stage 2. I noticed some - Knock in my logs. Can you guys tell me whats going on in this portion of the log?

Stock 03 WRX log. Noon 1/5/07 about 60 degrees outside.

I'm very surprised your IAM didn't drop in that range. I was using an OTS stage 2 map with a ported and polished turbo which was hitting 18psi at 2600rpm (way before the timing map was tuned for), and I had just a few cells with negative KC and my IAM quickly dropped to 4.

i've read a few other threads, mainly http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ight=happy+IAM
so it seems -3 isnt bad after all since my IAM is a constant 16. So would most stock ecu wrx's receive knock of -3's every now and then?

You aren't even flooring it. If you're just driving around cruising then -KC is perfectly fine.
The stock timing map sucks balls because the KC map/Main ign. map are so lumpy and this is the very reason you may see -KC in some areas.
You have nothing to worry about.

^^^ thanks a lot for your reply. As you know, i'm new to this stuff and I would never have known that -KC is only bad when on 100% throttle.

each noob question i ask, i learn a bit more.
