It's not the Alky Silver one that was at Dodge Phil. It is another 2005 WRX STi in Black.

Looked in fairly decent condition. Saetern, if you can get a VIN number, Mavrik can check for you at Subaru if anything has been done maintanence wise and such.

get a buyers survey...contintental does them...and if we decided to reccomend, it, a leak down check. outlaw night would be a great choice for this work, to save you a little coin. request Dale or Me!

basically an all around inspection of the vehicle, including mechanical and safety items, as well as many more. it costs one hour of shop time, and is a very through check out. i've had a lot of customers spend the money on 3-4 before they find a worthy car. they saved thousands in repairs!

i always reccomend a leak down check too, more so then a compression test. i've seen many scoobies pass the compression test but fail the leak down, but not the other way around. so a leak down makes much more sense. basically a compression test is measuring how much wind the motor can stir up while cranking, (which is only about 200-300 rpm) where'as a leak down test pressurizes the cylinder with shop air and measures the minute amount of leakage (or in the case of a cracked ring landing major leakage).

its an 05 and they want 29,500 and i dont even know the miles. unless it has like 2 miles on it...

its not worth it.

you can get a brand new one otd for about 4k more..3 yrs newer, <250 miles or less and you know it hasnt been beat on....

if you really want a car and you are a serious buyer, i have to ask the wife.... but i could let you come by and look at mine. its an 03wrx, wrb with 39k miles.

I just drove it today! It has about 34XXX miles on it. It pulled fairly nice and ran fine! The price is kind of high in my opinion.

Always room to nagotiate. They sold the silver 05 they had a month or 2 ago for around what 26-27k? I'm sure you could get them to go down a bit.

you're not going to find any STI for $14K like you originally were looking for. and that is extremely high for a car that can be had NEW for about the same price.

I saw an ad that said Lithia is having a big sale this week, including used cars. Hopefully that will knock off 10-15%....?

phil, im considering it... it depends on if i can find a good deal on an 06+ wrx/sti and what the insurance would run. i might just wait until i get down to the states, even though i could get more for it up here than what they would give me down there...

as for the STI. the sticker on the window as of yesterday read 29.500, thats atleast 2k more than it should be... and thats if it is in awesome condition.
