Default F'ing Car just got broken into.

So wake up this morning to hear a car alarm going. Stupid Subaru alarm didn't do anything, it was a local jeep's alarm going off.

Interesting part, was how they broke into the car. They used a screwdriver to penetrate the weather stripping, and then pried the window off. All they stole was one of my H&K USP magazines.

Just a reminder for everyone to keep anything worth stealing out of their Subaru.

"worth stealing" is a relative term and quite useless when it comes to predicting criminal behavior.

not true...viper is same a s clifford just renamed... they are great alarms....i can steal a honda/acura is 30 seconds no matter what alarm.. my buddy has a 2000 si with a clifford i installed... alarm is was wired in like stock and behind the cluster... they rreached thru the grill and cut the battery then if you turn a honda sterring wheel hard enough to the left it will break the colum and you can start the car with a screwdriver...

what about doing a fuel cut? Doing a combinations of switches to be able to start the car. If they don't know where or how it works, they will never take the car.

this will help them from taking the whole car but if they want what is inside there is no stopping them unless you catch them in the act!

No crap. I just bought a 2001 rav4 for a smoking deal. I don't have insurance on it yet, so I had to keep the wrx out of the garage. It freaking sucks cause the wrx was officially out of the garage for 2 days before it was broken into. Only two freaking nights that it has been outside the garage...

Whatever, I'm over it now.

I live right next to the intersection of SR202 and Rural Road. We mainly get the transients in the area coming off Mill Avenue. Feel free to park your car over in my neighborhood.
