What's everyone's frequency of oil changes?

I was just wondering how everyone took care of their baby. I changed my oil and filter at 1,000 with dino, at 3,750 with dino and filter at 7,500 with dino and will add an oil change inbetween the 7,500 and 15,000 mile service with dino. At 15,000 I'll have the normal maintenance performed and change over to Mobil 1 sythetic. There are debates miles long about sythetic but I don't think that running dino for that period of time without really running her hard will negatively affect my baby.

I've been doing every 3K w/ Mobile 1 and a new OEM filter. It's probably overkill. I run 10w-30 in late spring-early fall and 5w-30 in the other times. I switched to synthetic at 9k.

i am running dino oil in my car till 15k...at that time i will switch to mobil 1...and yes my car is breaking in nicely now...much faster then when i originally got the car.

Every 2000 mile's ( yes 2000 ) But then again I get the filter's and crush washer for 4.60 and free oil ( I work for a suby dealer)

i do mine every 2.5k or so.

Mobil 1 syn 5-30 w/k&N.

I also try and do it before any race event, like the morning of. I feel it gets the most horse power that way.
But i'll add oil if i can't change.

I do mine every 3k, 5w30 dino oil, purolator filter. I may switch to synthetic at 10-15k, but I might not, either.

Once every four months. December 5w-30, April & August 10w30. I only drive 6- 8k year. I will start adding a quart of Mobil 1 at about 7k, then add an extra quart with each addition oil change.

I skipped the break-in oil change, it's not in the manual, and I was on the road from 300-3,000 miles. Oil was visibly used at 3,000 miles. Next change at 7,500, then I'm going to have my oil analyzed after the first real oil changes to see what's really necessary. Oil analysis is $20.- or so... well worth it, IMHO

Every 5K w/ Mobil 1, 10W 30. This way, I also rotate tires. It is a low maintenence routine I've been doing for years.

I took my car in for all scheduled maintenance so far and I have 10k miles on my 02 wrx. Switched to mobile 5w30 at 7.5k. After reading what the manual said about scheduled maintenance, but that was for dino oil and not syn. But if the manual says to change oil at every 3k, ok then. But syn's don't break down as fast as dino oil, so will change when the oil changes color. Fisrt oil change with syn so waiting to see when the color changes.

Every 5000 miles with a new Purolator Pure One Filter & 10w30 Mobile One in summer. 5w30 mobile one in winter.

Just drained my oil out after 3k and it was pretty dirty, so I'm definitely going 3k at the latest. Oh and if you take the oil pan off and let the car sit for 3 days, it really gets all the oil to drip out. Not really recommended unless you have a reason to take the pan off, but my lub system is near squeaky clean now.

Course I drive almost consistantly above 3-3.5krpm, so it's understandable my oil gets dirty quick.

Castrol GTX 10W30, Fram X2. 2,000/ 4,800/ 7,500/ 10,700

Tried Mobil One synth 10W30-made my lifters/engine sound like I was going to throw a rod @ 7,500 so drained immediately after a few hundred miles and changed oil again back to GTX and is fine.?? Too thin maybe?

SOA recommends 3k, 7.5k, then every 7,500 miles.
