Default Am i going to pass inspection with a cobb cai?

i think i am, but my parent think other wise, any of you know from experience...i live in Va

check out the homepage's photo albums to see what intake I'm running. I'll give you a hint I had to be flown into Texas to pick my car up.

If your state's smog inspection includes a visual inspection (as california does) your intake will need to have a CARB EO number.
btw, did you purchase the car new with the cobb intake or did you install it as an aftermarket piece.

Reading between the lines, its seems RS ING has a COBB Impreza He also did not answer your question.

**You need to find out if your state mandates a visual inspection.
MOST states that mandates a visual inspection will require you to show an EO (number) certificate for any intake modifications.

Visual=need a EO number.
No visual= on problem.

To me, it looks like RS ING did answer the question. He said "No problem". Also, he lives in VA, so he knows the requirements.

BTW - I think CA is the only state that requires California Air Resources Board (CARB) EO numbers
