Didn't drive the wagon on sunday so the door opening mechanisms were frozen closed this morning from moisture in the door I suppose.

yup, saw the gauge in my car drop like a rock, from ~65ish to -14 in only 2 miles.

Mother bugger was it cold..

I kept reminding myself that this is a shirt and sandals day in Faribanks and trying to remember what chopping firewood in -65 felt like.

I remember splitting wood at -40. Your hands get numb, but the wood splits easy, it breaks like glass at that temperature.

Used to have an outside job in Alaska, but now I sit at a desk. I have to admit that is nice on days like this. -19 at my house this morning.

I remember being able to hear sounds from miles away at -65. Though I did live in the middle of the wilderness.

I was out snowmachining in -35 this weekend. Wasn't cold until someone told us what the actual temperature was outside. My buddies got frost nipped on the face.

than Akon black (he's from Africa)

I work out at the Intl. Airport and it's the same windbreakless arena. Thank god the shop has heat now, about a month ago if it was this cold outside it'd be about 10-18F in the shop. But that doesn't mean the vehicles care if they breakdown on the ramp. Oh well.
