Default Alarms & Led Lighting

Alarms & Led Lighting!!

We just added some alarms and led lighting to our Online Products page, for a limited time we're offering Free Shipping on both the Varad products or DEI / Clifford Alarms.

If you've seen any lighting in any of our installs it was done with Varad leds. They make a bunch of different kits that are quite useful. Everything from suspension lighting to alarm leds is covered by them. We mainly use them for installs, but they have many uses.

Here's a couple of pics showing how we use them in our installs.

Here's a link to our Online Products page, please PM if you have any questions or are looking for a different model than pictured, and yes blue is our favorite!

Sorry, right now there's nothing in the works for the pre 02 models. We need to have a lot of interest in the specific models to justify the costs and time of building a working model, and then molds from it to produce the parts.

We ran into the same issue as with the drivers side. The 02 - 04 plastic trunk panels are slightly different than the newer ones. We have to make a new model and mold for it to work.

If you / or anybody is interested in purchasing an 02 - 04 passenger side WRX 12 inch enclosure please email us here at the shop. sales@audiointegration.net

We're trying to keep an accurate count on the interest to judge whether or not it's worth making a new model.

The one thing you can do is pick up a 05+ passenger trim panel. They mount and fit the same and would allow this current model to work.

If I can remember right, theres not enough room to do much on the passenger side. The enclosure is close to or will hang over the spare tire cover, making getting to the spare rather difficult.

Most of our customers and us included, have wrapped the jack in a towel to keep from rattling and placed it in the spare tire. Your other tools should be in the tray above the spare tire if I'm not mistaken. We could of made the enclosure for the passenger side, but the the cover to the spare and the trunk light would've been covered up. Hope that answers your question, if you have any more let us know.

That's a good idea, I don't know why I didn't think of that. I've got the jack for my other car in with the wheel. Slipped my mind I also frequently move the trunk cover thing and stow it in its place. Will I still be able to get that in/out easily?

If I remember right, it does still fit, I've pm'd a guy that has one to check for sure, but it seems if it didn't I would remember.

Thanks. I almost forgot, where would an amp go for this? Under the driver/passenger seat? I had planned on an amp for components and an amp for the sub. Not sure where I'd fit two amps though.

We do make a fiberglass amp rack that goes in place of the storage tray above the spare, right now the height for the amps with the factory cover is limited to about 2 3/8. We're in the process of developing a mold for a new cargo cover that would sit up about a 1/2" further to allow for more amp height.
Here's a couple links of wagon installs, one with our rack, and the other with amps under the seat.

Typically only the new models go on sale for a few months. The raw enclosures themselves do not have a whole lot of room to discount due to the time and complexity involved. We try to give the best deal when purchased with a sub since it allows us to discount a bit. If you have a WRX, then the passenger side enclosure may be for you since it was released only a few weeks ago and will be on sale for a while.

I take it you're refering to the Passenger Side model yeah? We had a lot of interest to build the 12 inch version but not much on a 10. We were able to make the passenger side look like the driver's with the same airspace, on a 10 that wouldn't be possible.

The time, money and work it takes to build a new model, from original to molds to finished part is quite extensive. There would have to be alot of interest in a 10 inch version or else the project on our end is just a huge loss.

Here's a link to our Demo Car Build thread (page 5 near bottom)where theres a couple of shots of a prototype amp rack that mounts to the underneath side of the rear deck.

We're still working with some sheetmetal contractors to see if it can be made for a resonable price, hopefully by the end of the month we'll know if it's possible.
