Default RE:help!

So you have an ej20t and you're mating it up with the trans out of the subaru "l" and trying to get the cable system to work or the hydraulic one? My problem is I'm using the s.t.i engine and trans and cannot get the cable
set up in the "l" to work on it maybe we can help each other out if not good luck to you.

you have just the turbo engine? not the trans from the turbo car? your trans will bolt up and run fine. it may be weak compared to an STi trans but it will fit and drive fine.

keep the clutch/tranny in it till you get all parts to convert the cable one to hydraulic. parts you need to convert to hydr.edal box(all pedals, switches, etc), M/C, hydr. line to tranny, hydraulic tranny(RS,WRX,STi).

you don't NEED one. it'll help when your upping the power tho. your stock tranny will hold for a while and is already in the car. if you are gonna replace it, do it now.

i do have the wrx tranny hat came with the motor and so the jdm tranny has the hydrolic setup and my "L" has the cable set up. and i want to hook up the jdm tranny. so is it possible to hook up the setup from my "L" tranny and then hook it up to my jdm motor. is that possible?

no. cable won't work the hydr. clutch. you need hydr. pedals and m/c and line to use the good trans..

any RS/WRX/STi/ impreza or forester(all had 2.5 and hydro iirc) most newer legacy have hydro clutch and pedal box obviously.
