Post just got a ticket for having an import!!

******* bellevue cop, officer T. Thibert the import hater of bellevue, big dumb italian looking mofo, probably can't wait to get home and beat his kids...Cause he sure was an ******* to me for no reason!

So I pull into jack in the box to get some grub and figured i'd go home to see if the guys wanted some first...so i merge back onto bellevue way...Get into the suicide lane and wait for traffic to clear...All the sudden he comes up on me with the red and blues...I pull over and the first thing outta his mouth is "have i pulled you over before?!?!" the second, "are you a good kid?" the third "i coulda got you and your import for negligent driving" He says that i pulled into jack in the box and left just to avoid the left turn lane that wasn't even full!!! He proceeds to belittle me and my car for a good 15 minutes...I am so pissed...well there goes my 25 and no ticket insurance rates that i was counting on this next term...son of a bitch...now i getta go to court and be bitched at by some judge that wasn't even there, feel like a dumbass in front of 20 other people and pay a 71 dollar ticket cause I "cut a corner to avoid a traffic control device"...Of course the fools on cell phones and those reading books while driving are A ok!! cause they have normal cars!!

Leave me alone you god damn pigs, time to get a Tercel just so i don't have to deal with these asses...jezuz

Word...f*ck'm.

Ive heard stories about that guy from friends. A friend of mine got the same treatment in his 2000 Eclipse. Which was BONE STOCK BTW. The guy is preaty stuck up, and biased to any sort of import car. Im not a big fan of rice or factory rice. But this guy takes it to the extreme.

i had a cop tail me through downtown seattle on my way home a few weeks ago.... and i mean TAIL me... as in giving me almost zero breathing room. I almost tapped my brakes on the bastage, but that would have given him an excuse probably.

I just ignored him and he bailed out when i exited on to I-5. I really hate bored cops with big egos.

Ive come to the conclusion based on what ive seen in local drivers...uturns on 4 lane highways, , running lights 3-4 seconds after theyve gone red, people eating/talking/reading/putting on makeup while driving, cutting across four lanes of I5 in one move 2 secs before their exit...that pretty much anything goes if you can get away with it. I even asked a cop once at a Starbucks about the u-turn i saw someone take on the Aurora Bridge if that was illegal...he said "Not if i dont see you do it" jeeeez Seriously pull me over and sign me up....traffic laws mean nothing in this state and are randomly and sporadically enforced. Im one of those rare Seattle natives...it wasnt always this crazy...people moved here and brought their inane driving styles from where they came from a little local bias there

Oh and i saw the new WRX at Chaplins....yes dorothy it really does suck

I was driving back from Eastgate today and a friend asked me what kind of car this Aztec was driving next to us...i said thats a PVM...whats that?? A Patriotic Vehicular Martyr...you know the kind...im going to drive American even if its slow/unreliable/lost 50% of its value off the lot/etc

Ok enough ranting

Seriously though, Mike.

Go to the Bel Police Station and file a complaint. I have and it works. Officers with attitudes are not wanted anymore in law enforcement and police chiefs/captains like to hear about this kind of stuff to know what is going on behind their backs.

Have a Nice Day?

Well I am about to become a Subaru owner and I hope most of you pefectly nice people aren't offended that I don't immediately introduce myself to everyone I see...
It's my first ever Japanese car and I can see I won't fit in the culture very well.

you can easily beat this ticket!!! he doesn't have you on camera and you just tell the judge EXACTLY what you told us!!! i have gotten pulled over lots of t imes for no reason and i fight as many tickets as i can....but if you do plead guilty, the judfge will more than likely drop the price of the ticket!! i would fight it!!! you will prolly have to pay court fees, but it won't go on your record AND FILE A COMPLAINT!!! do that and it will help your case!!! better your chances of gettin the ticket thrown out..

WRXster....welcome and dont worry about introducing yourself..and dont mind me ranting about the new WRX...if you like it thats all that matters Get some pix of your new car and post them here

Basshead...seriously filing a complaint is the way to go here..anachronisms like that officer continue to be employed because most people dont think enough of themselves to stand up and demand accountability. Its simply abuse of power and a bullying attitude and it needs to stop and you are the one to take a stand. That numbnuts needs to get it that most "imports" are made or partially made in the US anyway and many "domestic" cars are made through overseas partnerships. It might really fry his pea brain to learn that Chrystler is for example owned by the Germans (gasp) The list goes on.

Tell you what Mike, when you go in the the police station to file a complaint (which I would definitely do) Bring in a letter for the police chief and have it also say in the letter a copy is also going to the the mayor and city counsel.

Stuff like this will only continue unless it is reported every time.

Also wouldn't harm to send it to King5 news special reports unit.

PS I'm a wop too

My opinion of the Bellevue PD was pretty pathetic, but even more so now. Maybe it was he who told me the guy who threw a big bottle of sprite out his window and bounced it off my hood did nothing illegal.

Holly cow, Horatio, throwing ANYTHING from a moving vehicle is against the law! I knew a guy in highschool that threw a pop bottle at a friends car whil pulling out of the school parking lot. He got a big fine!! Man, I hate crooked cops.

Cops are some of the lowest forms of human beings on the planet, aside from truck drivers. They will @@@@ you. Go to court, contest it, go to pretrial, go to trial. Make the pig show up, then at the last minute plead guilty and pay your fine. At least you know that you screwed up his plans for that day.

Hate cops, its the American way.

FLAME SUIT ON....

OK just because a few cops out there are bad does not mean that they all are. That's like saying all import drivers stoplight drag race, do burnouts in parking lots, and speed.
The few wreck it for the many.

I work with alot of police officers through out the NW and the United States and alot of them are very nice guys who are out there to do a job, and that is to protect the inocent.

Do I have to remind you about the Des Moine police officer who's funeral was yesterday. These guys put up with enough stress everyday to make your day seem like a cake walk.

yeah some of these guys might have a power trip, but I can so you 20 more who would put their life on the line so that you could live a full and happy life

I'm gonna have to agree with Ryan on this one. With all the crazy **** I have to deal with at night, I've started to rely on the Police. Yes there are some that are crooked, and most that I've met are good people. My dads truck was stolen from the lot at my work one night and they had it back to me in 45 minutes. When I was threatened by this punk that stole some beer, they caught him in 15min. Cops deal with more bs than I could imagine.

Mike it looks like you've ran into one of the ***hole cops. Contest this.

Um. I'd like to say that I do respect and actually like most cops. It's just I've had a bad taste in my mouth from the Swellevue PD. I don't much care for them sitting in doorways on their motorcycles and tearing out across the sidewalk just to catch red light runners. (Corner of NE8th and 108th)
Plus the incident above. And he had the nerve to give me a mini lecture when I said "next time I'll just run into the bastard." >twitch<
Bellevue PD doesn't have anything better to do than go after jay walkers on lunch or import car driving innocent folks.

I do know two cool Bellevue cops though.

Another thing about cops to consider...

One reason i could never be one is that for example, had i just arrested the punk who shot and killed that officer down in Des Moines I would be hard pressed not to beat the living crap out of him first...swear he was resisting. But no we have to respect criminals rights, even more so over the victims. Who knows he might catch a hangnail in the back of the patrol car and sue us all.

Personally i would have a very hard time respecting the rights of wife beaters or child molesters. Id be on the front page for having wasted some slimeball i caught smacking his wife around.

I never was so happy to see the cops as when i chased down this one punk who stole my sisters purse...and i got it back after tackling him and holding him in a headlock. Yeah yeah he could have had a gun...but if your sister is back there crying...you do the right thing

So some cops are good and some are bad and they do a pretty decent job under tremendous pressure. That one in bellevue needs to be reported though.

Well i have to say that of all the cops i have met, city cops are always asses...it was like that at college, it was like it in my hometown and now it's like that here...I have been pulled over 2 times in my scooby and twice in my old car by state patrol and they were the nicest cops i have ever met in my life...plus they were willing to talk about the incident/foul i just committed and come to a solution that didn't involve ticketing me...Every time in that case i told the truth, admitted my fault and stated i would be sure to slow down or whatever(and i always do, being pulled over sucks) but this bellevue ass was just way outta line and a complete dick to me, believe me i will contest it. Hey Jamie, can you gimme some details on a lawyer?, i've never gotten one before...

Hey Mike, quattrokai, good to see ya postin here again bud!...And everyone watch out for a sleeper 230hp(for now A4, or did i just let the cat outta the bag?

For those of you that already know this about me, but.....I used to be a cop in the city. Believe me when I tell you that Police work will make you into a "Samuel L. Jackson-import hating-cold hearted-stone faced-ass holie-mutha funka!" Cops hang with cops and develop their perceptions of other people based on their experiences with that less than 10 percent "bad" population committing all the crimes. It is just human nature to protect our sanity from all the b.s. out there so they have to be that way in order to survive. Doesn't make it right to be an ass but it is a way to survive the streets. (My 2 pennies and several college classes on this subject.)

In my experience it doesn't matter if you are black, white, victim or offender, cops are people to be avoided.

I'm sorry you feel that way Max, just because you've had some bad experiences with some police officers doesn't mean that they are to be avoided.

Maybe when you need one you will not avoid them, at some point in everyone's life you will probably need a police officer, deputy, or a state patrol man.

Mike,
I talked to a Pierce County Deputy today and he said that you should call and complain to the officers supervisor also. He made one thing important though,
"BE POLITE"
You will get a long way with this if you just be polite.
