Default Where is the PCV valve for 2004 WRX

I searched and all the pics are no longer hosted. I know where it is on the 2003-2003 WRX but on the 2004 WRX the PCV isn't under the throttlebody. Can anyone show me pics of this so I can replace it? My ventilation system is puking oil and I think my PCV is clogged.

If you look at the turbo inlet hose, follow it to where the turbo is located. Facing forward toward the engine it will be on the right around the throttle body area. There is one hose that connects to the turbo inlet near the turbo, if you follow that hose, it will lead you straight to the pcv valve.

Do a search because I asked the same question a while back.

BTW, get the entire pcv assembly from Subaru because you'll be hard pressed to remove the old valve without breaking the plastic thingy where it lives.

It isn't that thingy that has some sort of sensor on it is it? You see I have a FMIC so we had to redo the ventilation hoses. There is a hose coming off each head and they tee at this thing. It has a harness on it and the bottom tee goes down under the throttlebody. We had to break this thing at the end for the FMIC kit.

Dude I searched and tried to find it. You don't have to be a ****ing ass and you can link and help a dude out. Damn.

I just needed a picture of it. I got it off another site though thanks to some friends at WRXAtlanta.

I know you found it already, but yes...the pcv is inside the plastic "tee" that is why I suggested that you get the entire assembly and swap it out, that's what I did.

I will once I get the part number for it. The local Subaru parts didn't know what I was talking about and their exploded diagrams are 02-03 WRX diagrams. They suck.

I will quit being an ass when you quit being an ass to the other 137,000 forum members and post in the right forum so as to not clog these forums. Hmm I'm sorry it was in the wrong forum. Simple mistake dude. My car is a 2.0L so I thought the 2.0L forum was the right one. I have shown courtesty many times on this forum. Never have I bashed any one. So I have shown courtesy. What ever this is stupid....

I would also expect more maturity from a moderator. As one of those 137,000 forum user, I don't see why any other forum member would have to take this kind of launguage and behavior from a moderator....unless we're dealing with a teenager, then I can understand.

I ordered mine from www.subarugenuineparts.com for like $6. However, I'd order more than one, since shipping is a flat $7.25 or something silly like that.

To the OP, I have a picture of the PCV floating around somewhere on my computer at home. I'll try to dig it up when I get home.

Maybe we could have an "I don't know what forum to put this in" message icon, so the moderators can easily peruse the forum and move things if needed. I've had a hard time a few times trying to post things, since I had no idea where to put them. I never got any crap for it, but I also never got any replies. I think people hate me. Haha!

Just because i don't post much on this website should hardly effect the fact that what the moderator did was inappropriate. He should have just moved the post to what he deemed was the appropriate forum and politely say so.

I would do it if it needs it. Its cheap and a easy to do.

On the mod remark....they are only speaking the truth. I think it was uncalled for. I politely stated that all I was looking for was a visual aid. I had read the manifesto and other posts and I was still a tad confused so I wanted a visual reference since the ones that used to work no longer exist. I just don't see how that translated into me being an ass to the other viewers?

I think the issue was that he felt it was the wrong forum. I don't know where it originally was posted, but I can't fault you for not knowing where to post it. Unless it was something like the Car Audio forum.

Wow...all these n00bs ripping into Unabomber. He's probably in the corner crying.

But seriously people, he made a slightly sarcastic remark explaining to the OP that he would have found it easily had he searched. Then the OP dropped the F bomb and called him an ass...

Maybe I missed something?

That sarcastic remark could be handled better.

Will someone please lock this thread.....it's starting to get out of hand.
I'll be the bigger guy and say if I was out of hand then sorry.
