Unhappy 98 impreza cluster lighting issues* need help

I took my stock radio out and when removing it 2 wires touched and shorted out. it burned out my dome light fuse and cluster lighting. i replaced the fuse ont he panely in then engine bay and the dome light works but the dash and climate control did no light up.
i repaired all the wires on the radio harness and put the oem radio back in. the radio works but now the dash cluster only lights up to the level of the radio display and turns off when i turn the radio off. the front right speaker is very quiet and barely works. and the lighting ont he radio turns off whenever the radio is on.

what could be my problem?

Default

i fixed like 99% of the troubles. after looking for the interior fuse panel i found out that the ILUM fuse was burn out. i replaced it and now it works.
now i run into the issue of when i turn on my dash lights/headlights the front speakers stop working. it happens when i turn the car on also.
and when i leave the dash ligths off the guages are backlight very faintly and flicker to the beat of the music. but the guages go to normal brightness when they are switched on but that causes the front speakers to stop working.
what else could cause this?

also is the radio supposed to be backlit when it is only on the clock display?? even when its day time and the guages are not on?
