Attempted break-in...

Last night someone tried to break-in to my subie. I'm not sure what the name of the tool that was used. But there was a big screw broken off in the lockset and my door handle is now about an inch and a half away from the door. The subie held....they did not get in. I'm not sure if they were going for the car, or simply the radar detector and misc. stuff in the car. Now I need to have it fixed. Any recommendations on a repair/body shop would be appreciated. dent puller??? or did they just try to pop the lock... in anycase thats gonna cost some coin to fix. imprezas not have the window frame makes them SO easy to get into.. i dont need any of my locksmithing tools to get in.

yes, everyone has a break-in. i was simply asking for a recommendation for a body shop and maybe the name of the tool that was used...dent puller, slide hammer? all i know is it pissed me off and then to have you state the obvious...doesn't help.

Be lucky you had a couple of dumbass's who could not break into a car...If it was me(being the thief) you would no longer have a window.

You don't even really need to break the window, you just pull it out from the top seal and get your jimmy tool in there and punch the unlock button.
