When you say "It would be impossible to maintain pump gas boost levels (under 22psi) on a turbo like this without wastegate port work" does this also hold true for 2L WRXs? Is this true with either a 7cm or 8cm housing?

Also, could we get a deal on SS oil feed lines if we take part in this group buy?

Personally, I'm looking for an IWG, 8cm Green with the new TD06H+ wheel, oil and water cooled, 2.4" inlet. I'm not certain if I require the porting with my 2L as we don't boost creep like the 2.5L seem to. I will mostly run pump gas though with race fuel now and then.

I ask because it is important, we have encountered several cases of boost creeping over the past 6 months and it has led to the new 34mm wastegate port job that we now offer. I am not comfortable selling these larger turbos without the anti creep porting, but it seems the competitive price of $1199 does not cover porting by the competition.

It would be impossible to maintain pump gas boost levels (under 22psi) on a turbo like this without wastegate port work.

Can anyone clear up if the competitions $1199 price includes anti creep porting or not?

We have decided already to include the water lines and complete gasket kit (turbine inlet and outlet, spare drain and water gaskets) for free (gasket set is $57 value)

I'm looking into the coating and will get back with you guys friday or monday to give the full scoop.

In boost we trust,
Robert Young
I think with the number of potential people interested in this group buy it should be included, especially if you dont feel comfortable selling without the anti-creep porting...does it really have anything to do with your competitors product?

I personally want to see an "out the door" price that includes all lines, porting, options etc....whatever you deceide, make it easy for us to place an order with you

FP:

I was just hoping we could get enough people to get the port of course cause I for one hate the creep...lol

I was also really hoping for both cold side and hot side coating that alot of venders offer with their turbos.

1200ish would be a great price for everything mentioned before plus port plus coating.

Is 1200 possible if we get enough people buying this in the groupbuy....aka is there a certain # of people needed to be able to get 1200 pricing???? Or is that price asking a little too much?

Thanks,
Matt
